I'm Daniel.
I'm a UX director, a builder, and someone who can't do anything halfway. Not because I'm trying to impress anyone — but because half measures don't make people feel anything. And making people feel something is the whole point.
I think deeply, move deliberately, and show up fully for the things and people I care about. I'm direct in a way that takes some people a minute to get used to — and then they usually don't want it any other way.
If it's worth doing, it should be worth remembering.
What I'm drawn to
Experiences
Designed, not just had. If it's worth doing, it should be worth remembering.
Building
Software, spaces, systems. Same instinct, different materials.
Outdoors
Mountains, open land, new places. The kind of air that resets something.
Technology
AI, local models, new tools. I learn by doing, not reading about it.
Culture
Japan, Spain, the way people live elsewhere. Curiosity that doesn't stay indoors.
People
Real ones. A small circle, kept close. Connection over performance, always.

My husband calls this a problem. I call it curiosity.

Building dordonez.com
This site, basically. An OS-shaped portfolio with a terminal, a window manager, a slime that lives on the screen. Built by hand, in the open, mostly at night.
Based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Working remotely with teams across the US and abroad. Bilingual — English and Spanish. Not on social media. If something here resonates, reach out. I actually like talking to people.
